American Star Financial, Inc, headquartered in Rockville, MD, brokers and services a wide range of residential mortgage types— traditional to private equity—through a network of public and private investor lenders.
The company began in 1992 when American Star Financial’s Director Jeffrey Rosenbloom, an established CPA, sensed the need for a wider range of mortgage programs for residents in the metropolitan Washington DC area. His daughter, Renee LeVine joined the company as Vice President in 2005, and also serves as American Star Financial’s loan officer.

Renee LeVine, Vice President/Loan Officer
Renee LeVine has been in the real estate industry since 2000, though since 2005, she has been the face of American Star Financial. As the company’s Vice President and loan officer, she manages and services each loan that comes through the door with an unmatched level of care, attentiveness and personal service.
A Native Washingtonian, Ms LeVine holds a BBA from the University of Miami and is active in the Women Business Owner’s Montgomery County chapter and Bethesda Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Potomac with her husband, a general contractor, their daughter Rachel, and their two dogs.

Jeffrey Rosenbloom, Director
Jeffrey Rosenbloom has served as American Star Financial’s Consultant/Director since the company’s inception in 1992. He is a CPA with Rosenbloom & Associates, CPAs, P.C., and has worked in the field of public accounting for over 40 years. Prior to founding the firm in 1989. Jeffrey served as a principal stockholder in two public accounting firms. He has extensive experience in construction, real estate, non profit organizations, business valuations, professional firms, cemeteries, retirement plans and retail/wholesale accounting.
Mr. Rosenbloom is a member of the National Association of Certified Financials Analysts (CVA). He was on the board of the Potomac Community Theater and is a former member of the Association for Builders and Contractors (ABC). Mr. Rosenbloom is a 1968 graduate of the University of Maryland . He and his wife, Irene, have been married over 40 years and have three children and six grandchildren. |
